Far Away Land RPG: Tome of Awesome

This is the core rulebook to play the Far Away Land Fantasy Role-Playing Game!

How to Play Far Away Land
Far Away Land uses a simple d6 mechanic where players roll a handful of six-sided dice and take the high roll. That roll is then compared with a target number or opposed roll. Bonuses and penalties can be added to increase/decrease the number of dice rolled. Optional rules allow GMs and players to expand and contract and house-rule as they see fit.

The Basic Mechanics of FAL
* 3 Stats determine base scores.
* Boons and Flaws add bonuses and penalties to Stat rolls.
* Magic is spell-based and elegant.
* Combat is fast and brutal.
* Optional rules like Battle Scar can stave off death but leave PCs permanently maimed.
* Creating a PC is open, fast, and flexible. Players can create any type character they can imagine.
